Bill: Privatisation of Sport Bill 4239
Details
Submitted by[?]: Nationale Liberale Partei
Status[?]: passed
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: April 4240
Description[?]:
Government Run Sports Institutions are ineffective. All current institutions should be privatised to give the free market more of a role in sports. This will improve the health, fitness and well being of anyone involved in such institutions. Those who would argue that private sports institutions will be too expensive must remember that under the current system there is no incentive for them to cut costs as they only accommodate those who can afford the costs. Opening lower income to private sports institutions will naturally make them cut costs in order to increase their customer base. |

Proposed: The government does not fund sports clubs; only private ones are allowed.

Message | Again, the NLP have a total misunderstanding of private-public economy. They are not competing for the same space all the time, they can live in harmony. And secondly, you don't understand anything about pricing strategies. Not only do you need a biology textbook, but you need a business one as well. Elsanne van Rhee Leader of the DVP. |

Message | This is true. Those who wish to have a high quality experience may go to he private clubs, as may those seeking luxury. The poor or those satisfied with a more standard, sokplynsatosfactory experience may go to public clubs. In a totally privatised economy, the top end will be little affected -- the poor will. Random fact: In Culturally Protected nations, it is the responsibility of players to ensure the candidate boxes on their Party Overview screens are filled in with appropriate names. If a player is allotted seats in a Cabinet bill and has not filled in names for the relevant candidate position, then the program will automatically fill in the positions with names which might not necessarily be appropriate for the Cultural Protocols. |
Random quote: "A return to first principles in a republic is sometimes caused by the simple virtues of one man. His good example has such an influence that the good men strive to imitate him, and the wicked are ashamed to lead a life so contrary to his example." - Niccolo Machiavelli |
