The death penalty is barbaric: its very premise is hypocritical and based on revenge, not justice. Not only that, but a miscarriage of justice will have chilling results, and the death penalty is a failure at deterrence.

Be it therefore resolved, that state-sanctioned murder should be outlawed. Death to the Death Penalty!

Message	Due to the complex legal arguments and appeal systems, cases where the death penalty may be applied are far more expensive to run than other cases. It is also interesting to note that the PP and RP believe it is acceptbale to put a price on life.
