Bill: Loi sur le travail des enfants
Details
Submitted by[?]: Reconstruire l'ancien (RA)
Status[?]: passed
Votes: This bill proposes the withdrawal from a treaty. It will require half of the legislature to vote in favor[?]. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: November 4242
Description[?]:
This bill allows any person(s) over the age of 14, to work with additional regulations of adult labour. This includes entitlement to a minimum wage (that being, the minimum wage policy may change), health and safety and the benefits the employer must deliver to the worker. This is not child enslavement, but giving children the option to work if they so choose. If this bill were to pass, and we withdraw from the treaty, we shall propose that "Child labour is allowed, but with additional regulations to those of adult labourers" |
Proposals
Article 1
Withdraw from the International Anti-Child Labor Organization (IACLO).

Message | The IACLO are restricting the rights of those older children to get working experience in part time jobs, we should be allowing those over 14 to earn some pocket money throughout their childhood and their working conditions can be strongly regulated to protect from abuses. We support the motion. |

Random fact: Don't put "the" as the first word in your party name, because when parties are referred to in news reports, their names are preceded with "the", e.g. the [Socialist Party] has lost. |
Random quote: "I refuse to accept the view that mankind is so tragically bound to the starless midnight of racism and war that the bright daybreak of peace and brotherhood can never become a reality.... I believe that unarmed truth and unconditional love will have the final word." - Martin Luther King, Jr. |
