1. Why tax someone and then give the money right back? Just lower taxes an cut out the middle man. Less goverment bureaucracy. 2. We can't force people to be in the public retirement system. Let the individual decide what kind of pension they themselves want. A public pension system or a private pension system. Its a question of personal freedom and choice. |

Old value:: All adults not supported by another person shall be guaranteed a very basic subsistence income by the government. However, the provision of this is not to exceed a certian period of time.
Current: All adults not supported by another person shall be guaranteed a reasonable, though not high, standard of living by the government.
Proposed: There shall be no direct cash payments to individuals to guarantee a minimum income.
