| Message | Mr Speaker, This new bill aims to reduce taxes on our citizens, increasing the money found in the pockets of our nations citizens overall whilst also gathering up the money needed to address the ongoing budget deficit. Here are the old tax bands, compared to the new one: > 12,000 TAL 20% > 50,000 TAL 40% > 150,000 TAL 45% TO > 15,000 TAL 4% > 50,000 TAL 9% > 100,000 TAL 25% > 1,000,000 TAL 40% As we can see, this bill means that those who currently earn between 12,000 and 15,000, who currently pay 20%, will now now be taken out of income tax. Thousands of families throughout Talmoria will see more money in their pocket to they can spend it how they please - increasing consumer spending alongside increasing freedom. In a similar fashion, those who were earning between 15,000 and 50,000 will receive a tax cut of 31%. Those who are earning between 50,000 and 100,000 will only have to pay 25%. The richest will receive a small tax cut in order to stimulate investment and encourage businesses to set up shop in Talmoria. To pay for this, I shall be requesting budget cuts. The Liberal Democratic Party believe in low taxes. This government believes in low taxes. These proposals will make our nations finances fairer and make Talmoria more competitive. |

| Message | The Prime Minister has the floor, Mr Speaker, Madam Minister Bárbara González-Aller and LDP delivered great tax reform. We expected nothing less when we nominated her to chair Ministry of Finance. The reform expend tax-free allowance, in result leaving more money in pockets of the poorest of Talmoria. The benefits of it are more than obvious - more money in their pocket means higher living standards. Any vote against this tax reform will be move against the most excluded members of our society. Moreover, it creates more reasonable taxation brackets, while giving tax reliefs to every talmorian citizen. Great one for those earning less, like Madame Minister stated, while slight, but meaningful cut for the richest, to create more attractive economic conditions for great enterprise. It obviously means employment rise, as more jobs will be created. We can not also forget, that those money that will remain in pockets of our citizens, will be spend for consumption. Thus resulting in additional earnings from value added tax for both essential and luxury goods. It's time to give Talmorians economic relief, so they can prosper and thrive. | Message | Mr Speaker, The SDP wholeheartedly supports lowering taxes for the poorest, but these proposals simultaneously cut the taxes of the riches by extreme amounts. Taxing people earning nearly 1 million only 25% is ridiculous. The poorest will pay the most for these tax cuts on the rich but the LDP are trying to hid this through their slight decrease in tax for lower income households - they won't be fooled!
