| Lavinia Maggi, President of the Republic: "Hon. MPs, I'm about to call an appeal toward istalian citizens in Vorona: I want demand them to come back in Istalia and avoid any voyage in Vorona. This beacause I'm very concerned by this bill: http://classic.particracy.net/viewbill.php?billid=530551 It is not clear how this camps will be used, by given the fact that this bill seems rely to the international crisis involving Vorona, we fear that they could be used against foreign citizens living in vorona, and we know very well the risk of such epilogue. Too many times we have seen other Governments use such measures to hit these nation which fight them. Before that this happens again, we shall return in Istalia any istalian citizens in Vorona. But we shall also definitively cut any economic and financial ties which still could exist also after the Embargo we ratified some years ago. We know istalians, also if they travel and work around the world, they always maintain their ties with Istalia and first of all financial ties, for this reason, i would propose to create a found to cover the loss from this definitive cut for our citizens. All the expensses to make come back our citizens will be payed by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. This invite is send to the Istalian citizens, a right which this Government has and about which no other nations can interfere. Furthermore if in Vorona there are voronan citizens with istalian origins and they fear some risk for them by part of their Government, i want said them that if they make a request to us, we will be willing to welcome them in Istalia and offer them easier borders measures and aid for the reintegration. Thank you" |
