Message | So they end off better off than those who are unfortunate enough to be homeless? What an example to set. Don't worry, if you're homeless and can't get a job, commit a crime and we'll put you up for free, provide 3 square meals a day and, best yet, if you don't want to do anything, you don't have to! Whilst I applaude the Socialist Party in their humanitarian position, I do question whether they live in the real world? |

Message | In the current system still homeless people commit crimes to get into jale. Sure, they have to work alongside it, but hey they now at least they have a job, they couldn't find one before. It agree with the fact they are force to work an sich - as long as that doesn't mean other people outside prison won't be able to find a job anymore (there is a shortage) - and this last thing is not guaranteed at all right now. I want to give those outside prison walls the chance to at least get a job and now there are abunch of prisoners who are takinkg it away. This plus the fact I believe the prisoners should get paied minus the food minus the maintenance of the building regarding it as shelter and a comfortable place, not the token security measures. This last is not the case as the proposed option explicitly mentions wages while the current does not. |
