Description[?]:
The Progressive Liberal Party propose to adjust the government's spending budget to better address the economic and social situation of the Solentian Social Republic. School should be accessible to all Solentians as it already is privatized there still are area's where the government has work to do. Therefore we propose the following: *We will add another 15B to the education budget this to build more schools, to recruit more teachers and to give those teachers extra courses to do their job *A class will be attended by not more then 15 students, so a teacher can give his time to every student *We want to introduce a new way of giving education by giving children at the age of 14 the option to choose a lot of courses. There will be mandatory courses as mathematics, English, History, Biology etc. But they should be deciding their selves if they for example want to add more languages to their courses or for example want a course "theateral drama". This will be implemented by our local governments *Further we also want to introduce a new course that will learn children how to manage their money, how to fill in taxpapers, Wich taxes there are, what they need to know when they buy a house, etc *We will introduce charter schools nationwide for children with a learning disability/disorder. This to give them the right sort of education they need. The cost for the families is also fully covered by the government. *The government will still pay higher education tuition for low income families earning less then 18000SOL a year. For everyone above 18000SOL the government pays 75% of the tuition. |
