Message | Increased burden on taxpayers, large expansion of the Federal Government, and a decrease in innovation and quality of defense systems. This we cannot support. |
Date | 11:19:40, July 29, 2017 CET | From | Communist Party | To | Debating the Marching Forward Act 4248 |
Message | The idea that the state isnt innovative is laughable. The state is in a much better position to improve the research and development of defense systems as they can provide much higher levels of funding. It simply doesn't make sense to have one approach to defense systems spending and technology |
Date | 18:04:13, July 29, 2017 CET | From | Statesmen of Mordusia for Self Reliance | To | Debating the Marching Forward Act 4248 |
Message | In the current system, Defense contractors have to compete and develop better systems then their competitors. This ensures that our defensive systems are of the highest quality. A government owned defense company has no need to compete and no incentive to improve anything because it gets free money from taxpayers weather it does a good job or not. |
Date | 10:44:46, July 30, 2017 CET | From | Communist Party | To | Debating the Marching Forward Act 4248 |
Message | Again, to assume it is solely competition that gets results isnt true. However in the case of this bill, the state will be in competition with the private contractors. Most of the globes most important scientific breakthroughs have been the result of nationally own space agencies and defense companies. The idea the private sector is the sole option for our country simply isnt true. |
