Message | ...There goes the religious conservatives from your coalition. And the very concept of "freedom of thought". But in reference to the bill at hand, a government official should not be allowed to condone or condemn any religious practice in an official capacity, barring the most extraordinary of circumstances (e.g., if the organized establishment of a church engages in clearly illegal practices outside of the realm of theology - abuse, fraud, etc.). There is not currently any ban on a private citizen, or a government employee in an unofficial/private setting, exercising his or her beliefs freely- and for good reason, as this would violate one of the most essential rights guaranteed by any viable social contract, namely freedom of expression. In closing, the current law is the best possible policy for a secular state, in the opinion of the party. |

Message | A mistake I owned up to, I easily say that it was a mistake and have since changed my vote. Transgenderism is actually described as a mental disorder, therefore your retort is entirely discredited. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gender_dysphoria |
