Bill: Religious Reform
Details
Submitted by[?]: Mordusia First!
Status[?]: defeated
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: January 4252
Description[?]:
Religion is important to people as it gives them a purpose and a mission to work harder and create a better Mordusia. We propose to encourage religion by making Hosianism the official state religion but allow people to choose whether or not they wish to follow it but will encourage it form an early age by having a Hosian Prayer time in schools across Mordusia (which is not mandatory; students can choose whether or not to join in and pray) so that children can develop their spirituality and become one with God. Message | We were never a secular state and never will be. Our nation was founded upon Hosian tradition and values and it continues to be the largest religion in Mordusia. If there is no religiousness, then we have no purpose or values; it is that simple. This bill aims to restore Hosian values back into Mordusian lifestyles and will encourage people to be more religious as it is a good thing to help society as religious people are more compassionate. Message | Were is your evidence that religious people are more compassionate? This is once again a complete fallacy. |

Message | Also how does the current policy effect peoples values? Also to suggest it is solely religion that gives purpose and values is simply not true either. I am an atheist who holds my values of tolerance, equality, compassion and community in the highest order. My values are no different to many who are religious, so please explain to me how enacting these laws will make any difference to the majority religion? |
Date | 23:14:14, August 03, 2017 CET | From | Freedomist Party | To | Debating the Religious Reform |
Message | we need to keep government out of religion! we at the Freedomist part will not stand for any kind off state religion |
Date | 02:06:32, August 04, 2017 CET | From | Liberal Party | To | Debating the Religious Reform |
Message | Religion should stay a choice, not decided by the government, even encourage religion can make people practice the religion, just because they want to fit in. |
