This bill will pass as soon as the required yes votes are in and all parties in the proposal have voted yes, or will be defeated if unsufficient votes are reached on the deadline.

I don't think we are breaking any rule, just following game mechanics. What fun would it be if we all were in the government regardless of electoral results? Its a facet of democracy, everybody is represented no matter how small the minority, if you have 1% of the vote you get 1% of the power. | Message | OOC: I find it interesting that in your view of democracy 1% of the vote gets 1% of the power in the government. It may be that way in your country, but where I live, in Europe -and as far as I know in the USA- the government is composed of those the president or prime minister wants, as long as there is a sufficient majority in the parliament to support it. That is, a government can be formed by 51% of the voters, leaving 49% of the voters out. Unfortunately for you, this is also the system that rules cabinet formation in Particracy, and is the system that makes me comfortable. Somewhen on my early stages in this party, an all-round parliament cabinet was formed. It led to nobody doing nothing about it, i.e. eliminating the cabinet and the roleplay around it completely from the game. I didn't like it. |
