Bill: Privatisation of Highway Construction

Details

Submitted by[?]: Mordusia First!

Status[?]: defeated

Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: July 4254

Description[?]:

This bill allows contracted firms to construct highways across Mordusia. This will allow more job growth and stronger, more developed roads and highways which will improve the economy in many areas.

Currently local governments are in charge of taking care of our roads, however if you look at the state of them, there are many potholes and they are in terrible condition. If we leave the job to contracted firms, they will employ more people and they will create and maintain roads and highways in every state in Mordusia because private companies know that if they do a good job and create the best roads possible, they will be given more contracts and earn more money,

With more efficient roads, we will have a more efficient transportation system and that will boost tourism in Mordusia. With a growing number of tourists and more construction firms hiring people there are more jobs and with more jobs, there is a strong economy.

We will add an extra 15 billion MRD to the Ministry of Infrastructure and Transport budget so that they can contract with private companies and construct our nation's roads.

Horace Grumsworth
President of Mordusia
