| Istalian-Pontesian Friendship and Economic Trade Agreement The Istalian Republic and the Sovereign Republic of Pontesia, since now the contracting parties, pledge to establish a friendship and Economic/Trade Agreement between them. Article I - The contracting parties will recognise each other as fully sovereign and independent nations and will mutually respect institutional and legislative changes. Neither nation shall be allowed by this treaty to attack the other or support military menaces from third nations. Article II - Recognising that this treaty is based on a common vision of purpose and ideals, it remains the right of the contracting parties to unilaterally withdraw from the treaty should ideological incompatibility arise between the two nations. Article III - The contracting parties will increase trade with one another, opening the doors of trade to goods, services and investments through mutual free and fair trade. To that end, both nations will work together to remove protectionist trade barriers and promote trade, investment and tourism and via their customs and excise Authorities agree to speed up the movement of goods and clearance through customs as well as simplify and make available to the trading community information on procedures for the international transit of goods, the required documentation and the mode of transport. Article IV - The contracting parties will permits the creation of joint business, trade and economic councils that seek to promote, develop, and improve industrial and technological cooperation, resolve disputes, and formulate sound policy strategies to promote fairness and freedom of trade between Istalia and Pontesia. Article V - The contracting parties will allow free travel of each other's citizens, with the exception of cursory security checks, which are determined by each nation's government. In matters of non-working travel, stays lasting shorter than 90 days do not require a visa from the other nation where applicable. In matters of working travel, both nations will apply special treatment and status to the working travelers of the other nation in order to expedite travel and processing treatment and facilitate the integration and economic and cultural exchanges between the two nations. Article VI - As a part of this treaty, Istalian and Pontesian companies have full autonomy to conduct operations in Istalia and Pontesia in order to expand into the respective markets. Nevertheless, companies seeking to relocate to Istalia or Pontesia, must register as public companies under the Global Stock Exchange (GSE). By doing this the listing fees of companies will be waved and 99.99% of the shares will be retain by the owners and 0.1% to public trading. Article VII - The contracting parties whose investments are lost to nationalization or other such state confiscation not ordered by a duly constituted court of law in pursuance of criminal prosecution made by due process of law is obligated to file a Compensation Request with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of Trade and Industry of the confiscating nation. The confiscating nation is obligated to compensate all loss of assets, intrinsic value, and good will. Article VIII - The contracting parties agree to respect each other's culture, politics and history. In addition to this, both agree to cultural integration through the encouragement of mutual respect for one another and the exchanging of cultures. Article IX - The contracting parties shall construct embassies in the other nation at the convenience of that nation’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The embassy shall be held under the rules and protocols of the nation in which it is is built. Both nations shall agree to deploy diplomatic staff and relative defensive forces to operate their embassy and to financially support these staff on foreign soil. |

Even though we know that our two nations are not on the best terms we would never pass an agreement with a neigbouring country of yours since we respect you and respect that every country needs a buffer zone. Let us use the end of the Badaran war not to reopen old wounds but to work together. Please, reconsider your decision of passing this treaty for the good of Majatra. Thank you. | Message | The government of Istalia is already in deep cooperation with the Malivian government militarily and soon also economically and diplomatically. This is clearly an encircelement of Beiteynu which we cannot accept since the deeper cooperation between Pontesi and Istalia also would mean that in the end a military cooperation would follow. We have extended our hands to Istalia but the passage of this act would shut the door and open yet another time of tension after the horros of the Badaran civil war. |

| Message | Malik Astori, Leader of LP: "Into our last statement we already explained that Istalia already excluded any military implication of the treaty with Pontesi. About the Badaran Civil War, Istalia already condamned Beiteynu as the MAIN responsable of the 9 years of war in Badara, supporting a terroristic group and destabilizing a Government which had all the right to stay at the power. LP cannot talk in behalf of the current administration, but personally we reject any recognition to a nation which apply the slavery. We don't deal with uncivilized and barbaric nations which consider people like object and which support international terrorism. We don't deal to the one who armed the murders of dozens of people here in Romala and which attempted to kill our President Maggi and our HoG El-Nusri. We hope that the Government will recognize all this shame. Show to be a civilized nation and maybe we could consider to spent time to talk with you. We will don't betray our faith and values recognizing something to Beiteynu. And to be clear: Istalia never reppeal ed its measures against Beiteynu, Any Diplomatic relations was stamped out decades ago!" |
