Bill: Budget proposal of September 4255

Details

Submitted by[?]: Parti social-démocrate

Status[?]: defeated

Votes: This bill proposes to change the allocation of funds in the budget. It requires more than half of the legislature to vote yes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: January 4257

Description[?]:

The Parti social-démocrate propose to adjust the government's spending budget to better address the economic and social situation of the Royaume de Rildanor (Kingdom of Rildanor).

This is a scaled down version of our previous reform proposal. It calls for more modest cuts as well as a smaller corporate tax increase. The increases to sales and luxury taxes have been entirely removed. It will help us cut the budget deficit substantially and help us move in the direction of a budgetary surplus.

Random fact: In cases where a party has no seat, the default presumption should be that the party is able to contribute to debates in the legislature due to one of its members winning a seat at a by-election. However, players may collectively improvise arrangements of their own to provide a satisfying explanation for how parties with no seats in the legislature can speak and vote there.
