Bill: Withdrawal from the Against Torture Treaty

Details

Submitted by[?]: Royal People's Party

Status[?]: passed

Votes: This bill proposes the withdrawal from a treaty. It will require half of the legislature to vote in favor[?]. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: July 4259

Description[?]:

Honorable Assembly,

Frankly, some people need to be interrogated roughly during questioning. Some people deserve it, actually. If the international community calls that torture then so be it. I don't know why we're allowing other nations to hang their faulty morality over our heads. We're putting the safety of our nation at risk by continuing to be party to this treaty. We must withdraw.
