Message | Members of Congress, Pharmaceuticals, just like everything else requiring labour and/or capital to produce is not a right, it is a good/service provided by someone else, with their invested labour, time, effort and capital, expecting something in return. Hence it cannot be free, someone has to pay for that and why should the taxpayer, who may not use the drugs in question, pay for someone else? So we urge everyone to vote against this immoral populist scam. Karl Hare, Whip of the Baltusian Green Alliance |

Message | Mr Hare, Everything requires labour and capital to produce, for example water. But we still consider that a basic right which is funded by the taxpayer. I would advise you that the people who are receiving the free drugs are in fact the taxpayers themselves and that consequently they will be using the drugs in question. I do not see why providing drugs funded by taxation is immoral unless you believe taxation is immoral? This will lower the costs of the average household. Obviously a piece of legislation cannot be populist however you are correct in that it is proposed by a populist party, which we pride ourselves in being. I do not see how slightly increasing taxes so as that the average household is paying less is a scam. A scam is defined as a "dishonest scheme." and we are being entirely honest about what we are proposing.
