Erardo Pula, Head of Government of Istalia, introduces the following proposal:

Whereas the principles of multiple citizenship allow for greater transnational cooperation;
Whereas identity cards impose on the rights of the citizenry;
Whereas parliamentarians should serve the populace, not live off of the public's largess; and
Whereas capitalism is to be reaffirmed as the dominant economic system through the Pula Ministry;

-Citizens are not issued with identity cards.

MessageHow is it a good idea that our citizens don't have an identity card. This proposal is pure chaos. Identity cards exist because they are useful not to supress our citizens you idiots. In many situations of life we need to identify a person and have information about them which can only be proofed by an official document like a identity card. How are shop owners supposed to know if their customers are allowed to buy alcohol. Or a even more universal example. How is anyone supposed to know that the person that signs a contract, is actually that person.
You call yourselves capitalist, but even capitalism doesn't work without identity cards. So anyone in here tell me, why is this absolutely idiotic piece of legislation being passed by the parliament?
