We move to lower the retirement age to 64. This will help lower the unemployment rate; by removing inefficient elderly workers, and providing new job opportunities, and experience to young workers, and the previously unemployed. Thank you.

MessageCould you please elaborate, Congressman? While, we understand that this would mean more elderly people receiving pensions, we do not foresee a direct negative impact on the economy. If anything this would mean more productive capacity, by having young laborers instead of 64 year olds. We must also pay a special respect to those at disadvantages in our country. Such as the old man who works a difficult job waiting to one day be able to retire. We could shorten his misery, and give his job to someone who is currently unemployed.
