Bill: To change power of Head of State and Government and change identity card policy
Details
Submitted by[?]: The Communist Party of Luthori
Status[?]: defeated
Votes: This bill asks for an amendement to the Constitution. It will require two-thirds of the legislature to vote in favor. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: March 4267
Description[?]:
If we vest the power to chair the Cabinet to the Head of the Government, it will clearly define the power of the Head of the Government, and the Head of State could be a symbolic figure, treated with honour, and with restricted power. This will help demarcate the division between legislative and executive. Also, all citizens must carry government issued identity cards at all times. This is crucial, as during a emergency, the person's data could be used to contact their relations. Also, it will help improve security as in security checkpoints the identity of citizens could be confirmed. Also, it is necessary to make gambling illegal as it often leads to suicide, and is detrimental to the working masses. It also reduces our prestige among other nations. |
