Message | This is a sensible, and commonsense policy, and we are disappointed to see the Labor Party vote against this. Foreign Workers play a large role in the economy of any country, undoubtedly, especially one such as ours, where there is great cultural diversity. That is why the CDR/LDA happily welcomes migrants who wish to make a contribution to our laissez faire market, our economic productivity, and our economic development. However, by setting a precedent that we are willing for anyone to enter our country, we are both destroying the local culture, and causing an headache for the taxpayer, who will have to pay for more extensive benefit systems, welfare projects, and housing programs, for those who come in without the necessary qualifications needed to work in Aloria. I would urge the LP to reconsider its vote, as well as call upon the support of the ANC, in order to pass through this logical piece of legislation. Message | Current immigration levels are too high and it is damaging the Alorian economy. The Labor Party has shown the political establishment is unwilling to recognise the problem mass immigration is causing to the working class of this country. Gerald Wehnert ALP Leader |

Random fact: In cases where a party has no seat, the default presumption should be that the party is able to contribute to debates in the legislature due to one of its members winning a seat at a by-election. However, players may collectively improvise arrangements of their own to provide a satisfying explanation for how parties with no seats in the legislature can speak and vote there. |
