Message | We in the GCU are willing to accept this as an alternative to the agricultural reform and support act. This bill will simply allow the provinces to democratically decide how they will determine their agricultural subsidies, we hope our friends across the aisle will support this as well in support of democracy and local government. ---GCU Minority Leader Royce Blood |

Message | Mr. Speaker, Once again it seems that the right wingers who have no clue what it is to be brought up around agriculture and the subsidies which farmers need to survive want to play around with funding for our farmers. Please stop trying to change subsidies, I can assure you that the system we have in place works well and our farmers don't want to be politicised every other week. Thank you. Message | Mr. Speaker, The opposition doesn't desire to play around with funding for our farmers, we wish to extend funding to farmers so they can get it before they become so poor they are qualified as 'low-income farming families'. We have offered a plan to extend funding that the administration rejected and now the administration is voicing their opposition to letting the provincial governments decide on this issue. ---GCU Minority Whip Royce Blood |

Message | Mr Speaker, Our farmers dont get politicised every other week, this will result in the farmers benefitting from our policy. I believe that our President is deluded into being against giving our states the right to help the farmers. UDPR Party Representative, Sima Sander |

Message | Mr Speaker, We at the RCG understand that in order to block huge corporations from owning the food market, we must specifically derive subsidies to the low-income farms. |
