Bill: Increasing the Retirement Age
Details
Submitted by[?]: Mordusia First!
Status[?]: passed
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: March 4274
Description[?]:
Currently, people over the age of 67 are allowed to retire but there are problems with this. Firstly, there is a minor labor shortage in Mordusia which needs to be fixed. As well as this, many more people are dying at the age of 75 because they are weak and their bodies are not what they used to be. To circumvent these issues, we propose to increase the retirement age to 70 so that just enough people are in the workforce to fix this minor shortage and so that the strength of the elderly are built up a little bit more so that they will be able to live a longer life as they have regained their strength.
