Message | If it is natural then why does the government need to step in and actively promote it? In essence, this means using taxpayer's money to fund government schemes aimed at encouraging heterosexual people to have unprotected sex. Its not only a waste of money but will also send rates of sexually-trasmitted infections skyrocketing. |

Message | We promote it for the reasons outlined in the description, it makes good economic sense. Why will STD's sky rocket? The PN is a strong supporter of marriage, it would be very difficult for a happily married couple to spread STDs. Now, if we encouraged the breakdown of the traditional family, adultery and other sexual deviances, like the AEV does, then you're right STDs might skyrocket, but the PN doesn't engage in that sort of political idea. |
Date | 23:18:51, September 18, 2017 CET | From | Partido Democrático Republicano | To | Debating the Population Growth Bill |
Message | Everyone is vulnerable to sexually transmitted diseases, even married couples. |
Date | 10:32:56, September 19, 2017 CET | From | Partido Nacional | To | Debating the Population Growth Bill |
Message | Significantly less vulnerable I think you'll find. |
Date | 12:59:17, September 19, 2017 CET | From | Partido da República | To | Debating the Population Growth Bill |
Message | It doesn't make economic sense because in the end it will put unsustainable demands and pressure on resources which are not never-ending. This will lead to even more consumption which will result in an ecological catastrophe. The PN will be the first to cry when wealthy, white, middle-class Tukarese are up to their necks in floodwaters or are suffering from famine. |
Date | 11:27:48, September 22, 2017 CET | From | Partido Nacional | To | Debating the Population Growth Bill |
Message | Economic growth requires population growth, welfare provision requires a working population that at the very least is being constantly replaced. Like I have said previously the AEV see's absolutely no problem with flooding the country with immigrants (including criminals). If you genuinely believe population growth will lead to economic catastrophe and famine then we look forward to you proposals to halt all immigration and to implement a one child policy. Please do not bring race into this, we're distrubed by the racist comments you've made in other bill discussions and think the AEV should desist from racism. |
