We, the Progressive-Socialist Party present our bill to Establish a Supreme Court in Aldegar, and our 1st Proposal to a set of Bills which shall make up a Constitution of a sort.

ARTICLE 1: Nomination and Appointment
1. Any Persons who is a Natural-Born Citizen, or a Immigrant whom has recieved citizenship, and has lived in Aldegar for 5 Years may be nominated for a position on the Supreme Court.
2. The Shah shall Nominate a person should the Supreme Court have a spot vacant.
3. Following Nomination the National Legislature Shall vote upon the Nominee, and for a nominee to be appointed the Legislature must Confirm them with a Simple Majority.
4. Following Confirmation, the Nominee will be appointed to the Court, and Inaugurated by the Chief Justice, or the Leader in Government.

ARTICLE 2: Term
1. Every Justice appointed to the Supreme Court shall remain in the Court for a 50 Year Term, upon which they shall resign, and a new Justice shall be chosen.
2. Should a Justice die, the same process will b enacted as if they resign.

ARTICLE 3: Limitations and Impeachment
1. Justices are not barred from holding the Position of Party Leader, though if elected to the Shah, they shall resign prior to inauguration.
2. The Justices of the Court will be to remain unbiased while an Election is taking place, unless they happen to be a leader of a Party.
3. Justices are forbidden from taking money from outside influences.
4. Should a Justice break the Law or move past their limitations, the Legislature will have the ability to Impeach and Remove a Justice from the Court should a Justice: Commit Treason, Break the Law, or Commit a High Crime of Misdemeanor.
5. A Justice shall be Impeached if a Majority of the Legislature vote to Impeach, and following a Trial in the Legislature, can be removed from the Court should 2 Thirds of the Legislature vote in favor of Removal.

ARTICLE 4: Chief Justice
1. The Shah shall be entitled to appoint a Justice, Chief Justice who shall head the Court, and represent the Court.
2. A Justice shall retain the Office of Chief Justice until their Resignation, or Death.
3. The Chief Justice shall operate the Inauguration of Members of Congress, the Shah, and Justices of the Court.

ARTICLE 5: Size
1. The Court shall be sized at 11 Justices.
2. This number can be Expanded or shrunk, but only with approval of 2 thirds of the Legislature.

ARTICLE 6: Operation
1. For a case to Reach the Supreme Court, a lower Satrapy case must be appealed to the Supreme Court.
2. Should a case arrive to the Supreme Court, hearing shall be held for a time designated by the Court.
3. A Verdict shall be made with a Majority of Justices (6).

ARTICLE 7: Ratification
1. For this Bill to be Ratified it requires a Majority of the Legislature to Vote in Favor of it.
2. For it to be Repealed it Requires a 2 thirds Majority.
