Bill: Religious Law Enforcement by the Government
Details
Submitted by[?]: Clara Aurora - COSIRA
Status[?]: passed
Votes: This bill is a resolution. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: June 4282
Description[?]:
The new law we are introducing today has become a necessity against the rise of fanatism and madness happening all along Majatra and Terra, related to religions. From now on, any religion that attacks individual freedom, or anyone based on their personal thoughts, sex, sexual orientation or place of origin, among others, is banned from entering Selucia. A follow-up will be made to any new missioner entering the nation, after passing the cursority security check, and if it is decided that they try to attack anyone or disrespect anyone, they will be inmediately expelled from Selucia to their nation of origin. As a wise man once said, "We should therefore claim, in the name of tolerance, the right not to tolerate the intolerant." |

Message | As our party believes in Religio Selucia, this is fine by us. Though we are a bit hesitant about banning a whole religion, as they are usually many different groups inside one religion, we also wonder what will happen to the casual followers of the banned religions residing in Selucia. |

Message | Selucian followers of banned religion, if they show no bad behaviour, it will be fine. If, however, they keep doing things against other citizens in the name of a religion, the national law will act accordingly to their actions |

Message | So they will be deported, or forced to convert, if they have bad behavior? |

Message | None. If they are Selucians, they can't be deported. If they are not Selucians, they will. If they refuse to change their beliefs (not neccesary to convert to other religion), but don't openly express their thoughts that go against any other person, it will be tolerated. If they do it, justice will act against. |
