Bill: Pollution Act
Details

Status[?]: defeated
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: March 4285
Description[?]:
It has come to my attention that our country doesn't inforce any more restrictive policy on pollution. We should start coming up with stronger environmental laws that deter multinational corporations and the metal industry from destroying the remaining amount of natural reserves that we have. One law could be the "Environment Act", in which we can place penalties like revoking their business license if the business dump their toxic chemical waste into the river, lakes and oceans. |
Proposals
Article 1
Proposal[?] to change Government regulation of pollution in industry.
Old value:: The government enforces moderate pollution restrictions.
Current: The government provides pollution prevention guidelines, but does not enforce them.
Proposed: The government enforces highly restrictive industrial pollution standards.
