Message | Demetrio Votta, PNP Speaker for Finance, The LP is the new NS. This is blatant socialism and a promotion for ineffeciency. Giving the trade unions so much power, and imposing such a crazy high minimum wage, will result in two simple things. The low skilled worker will get replaced by a machine or even worse, they will simply move somewhere more economically pleasant, leaving us with a welfare state. You do understand that the youth and the low skilled labour and small business will suffer right? Not the big corporations which are actually able to afford these demands?! |

Message | Stefano Romulani, Whip of LP: "Mr Votta, our proposal about the minimum wage is the same that few months ago you changed. In so few months just the new employees signed wprk contracts with the new legislation. About the rest, you call it socialism, you call "socialism" any other different position than the yours. This is assure equal contractual force between employeers and employees. Who decides whatmis a reasonable reason? Why the other workers should not express solidarity for workers like them? Who decides how many hours you should work each day? For the huge part of the unskilled job they simply have not sufficient skills to impose anything, foe the employers is easy, their offers for these workers is a "give or take". This is not socialism, but peobably today my party is the veritable left side of the Parliament and of our Politics. Personally, I rejoy for it, Istalia became a nation of fascists, conservatives and liberals. Stop! But probably Istalia misses all the leftist political tradition. Call it "socialism", we call it "Justice"!" *applause from all the seats of LP* |

Random fact: Parties have the ability to endorse another party's candidate for the Head of State election (if there is one). This adds a strategic element to the elections. |
