Bill: Teacher-Led Meditation Bill

Details

Submitted by[?]: Grüne Demokratische Partei

Status[?]: defeated

Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: January 4289

Description[?]:

Let it be clear this is not a form of proselytizing. We leave the choice of doing prayer to the schools. But we do encourage it, because it is common sense that a moment of meditation in the middle of a stressful day, whatever you choose to do with it in your own mind, is helpful.

Lena Springer
Minister of Education and Culture

MessageMr.Speaker,

This bill is dangerous. Why should we encourage teacher led prayer? We could understand legislation to give a free choice to schools and teachers but to encourage it? that is not the task of the government and it should never be.

One question why does miss Springer adress us and nor miss Cindy Kirchen? Miss Kirchen is still the minister for Education and Culture in the demissionary cabinet. Does the NPB think theyre privilige to rule mentality has worked once more? The new government is not yet passed please let the actual active minister speak next time is the only thing our party asks mr. speaker.

Eckhard Schulhof,
President of the DKF

If you cared to read what I said, you'd know what I said. We encourage it to give the children a time of peace in a busy day.

MessageSchools should not be used for the religious indoctrination of children. This is just a means of distracting them from the injustices and inefficiencies of capitalism.
