Bill: Health Care Act

Details

Submitted by[?]: Progressive Freedom Party

Status[?]: defeated

Votes: This bill proposes to change the allocation of funds in the budget. It requires more than half of the legislature to vote yes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: September 4290

Description[?]:

Our party is proposing a new budget and policy change to address our healthcare crisis in our country. We believe that market health insurance and care is inefficient and not meant for the modern era. Our citizens are dying, and localizing the issue works to an extent, but obviously, we believe in more guidelines on the issue, as a healthy populous is extremely important. Our proposal establishes a government healthcare system, and it creates the government as the single-insurer. Private healthcare will still exist, but we are publicizing the insurance market and allowing healthcare to be more accessible and affordable to all.

Random fact: There are two countries based on Egypt in the game. Cobura is based on modern Egypt with a retro twist, while Hawu Mumenhes is based on Ancient Egypt with a modernist twist.

Random quote: "Democracy is in peril." - Ralph Nader (referring to turnout in the 1996 US presidential election)
