We believe that these weapons should be allowed but only for the defense of this country and not as tools of aggression so we will respectfully decline as this bill may put our defence at risk

MessageMr. Speaker,

we are currently in the following situation:
- we are operation UAV's with capability to perform both recon and military ops. While we have practiced military ops on just a couple of occasions, we would like to keep this possibility open, since we have the hardware available.
- the use of landmines is currently at my discretion. I am glad to announce that no landmine has been used during my time in office. Nevertheless, we would like to keep this option open.
- we currently develop and own both biological and chemical weaponry. It would be unwise to change this regulation, since we would either have to destroy our arsenal or sell it, which creates a threat for our own nation.

I regret to inform you that my party can and will not support this bill.
