| This act and all articles of it will come into effect after at least half of the legislature votes in favour. Description: "Our nation needs a moment in which our great president can announce his or her plans with the people of our nation. A speech of unity that will bring our people together with words so strong everyone will unite behind their leader. We propose the following" Article 1 The president, once elected, will give a State of the Republic address within the Rat in the first year of his/her term. This address/speech will consist out of the plans of the president for that specific term and the actions he/she will undertake during that specific term. Article 2 The State of the Republic aims at rallying the people of the Dorvische Republik behind their leader and therefore the speech's aim schould be to rally the people behind the president of the Dorvische Republik. "Our party hopes to bring more unity to the nation by introducing this bill and give a chance for our current president and president's to come to lick the wounds of elections and talk directly to the people" Emilie Lehning, Former minister of defense, DRF party leadership OOC: The name of every State of the Republic (Which will be regular bills with the speeches in them) will be "State of the Republic of *Year* |
