Message | We would have supported article 1 but not the rest. |
Date | 05:23:13, February 25, 2006 CET | From | Peoples Revolutionary Party | To | Debating the DRP Religious Clarification Act |
Message | All we can say about this is the following: 1) Religion will NEVER be a predominate issue in the politcal arena so long as the PRP are able to stand up for the equality of ALL religions. 2) The Seperation of Church and State will be maintained. We the State need not to help religion and we do not need to encourage it. 3) This is a breach of civil liberties and we of the PRP can not believe that such action has been taken by the DRP. 4) We of the PRP will never support any form of Nationalized Religion as we will not particapate in the creation of a Fundementalist state where Religion is regarded above the civil liberties of the people. |

Random fact: Cabinet ministers who disagree seriously with the head of government would usually be expected to resign. Parties within the cabinet may attempt to manoeuvre to replace the head of government though, for example by proposing a new cabinet bill or voting for an early election. |
