Bill: P.d.l. 01/94 - Bicameralism Act

Details

Submitted by[?]: Partito Giustizialista

Status[?]: passed

Votes: This bill asks for an amendement to the Constitution. It will require two-thirds of the legislature to vote in favor. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: December 4294

Description[?]:

OOC: The Istalian parliament is bicameral, and has been uninterruptedly bicameral for the past centuries. The upper house is the Senate and the lower house is the Chamber of Deputies. The in-game seat shares for each party are only those in the Chamber of Deputies, not for the entire Parliament (which covers both chambers). Therefore, it makes no sense to have changed the name of the in-game legislature to 'Parlamento della Repubblica Istaliana'.

I don't know how the erroneous change was allowed to happen, but it needs to be corrected. Hence, I propose the re-establishment of the old variable, 'Camera dei Deputati'. The term 'Parliament' will naturally still be used to signify both chambers jointly, as it always has.
