Bill: Heath Care Fairness Act, 4296

Details

Submitted by[?]: Liberty Dawn

Status[?]: defeated

Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: December 4296

Description[?]:

"Mr. Speaker,

I've said this before - but I can say it again: The only way to ensure that anything inside the public sector is fair and coast-effective with freedom of choice for everyone, is to outsource the system to private establishments were customers can chose to different, competing alternatives. We need to start treating people using public services as individuals and customers to satisfy rather than obedient serfs."

LD Health and Social Services Spokesperson

Message"Mr. Speaker,

Once again, the Solentian Nationalist People's Party has betrayed the ideology of third-positionism. It is necessary for us to preserve public healthcare, but allow private clinics to flourish as well. We urge the SNPP to reconsider this more radical path and support a bill that sustains both the public and private sectors."

Message"Mr. Borg,

Clearly you are unfamiliar with the ideology the SNPP, because the SNPP is third positionist only in certain sectors of the economy. Historically the SNPP has advocated third positionism with a free market bent, something this bill suits perfectly. The free market side is satisfied with privatizing health care and the central planning side is satisfied with subsidizing it for all citizens."

SNPP Chairman
