Bill: .Child Labor Reform Act
Details
Submitted by[?]: Workers' Party
Status[?]: passed
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: November 4304
Description[?]:
We understand that some children over the age of 15 are willing to work; however, putting them under the same standards and regulations of their adult counterparts could potentially put them in danger due to biological and mental differences. We propose this bill to make sensible, safe regulations for teenage workers and to standardize the conflicting local policies on child labor. Important point: this bill is not in support of labor performed by little children. This bill was created to stop the exploration of children at work and to protect the rights and health of teenage workers who work at their own will. |
