MessageMr. Speaker,

I hope all members of this assembly make no foolish assertions of this bill, this is one of the boldest assaults on the freedom of speech that the nation has seen in quite some time. The freedom to spend ones rutas as one pleases is an expression of an individuals freedom. Private citizens should be able to spend their money as they see fit, if that means supporting a candidate then they should be allowed to. Current policy already provides public funding for those candidates so long as their campaign doesnt reach a certain threshold. We urge all those in favor of freedom to stand against this bill.
