Description[?]:
Alessandro Eugenio di Nacosia-Rohan, Leader of LP: "Mr Speaker, once again we present to the parliament a more ractional and resonable solutions to face what we consider is becoming an unractional fear to any form of State activity. We have to blame most part of our collegues, which are so blinded by their fear that they fail to consider something as an activity in support of the more in needs considering it, rather, only as a theft. But, maybe, we should say that these people just fear to lose their privileges and to lose their social and economic position which allow them to act as "more free than others". But, to retourn on the matter, it is simply unthinkable that one of the most advanced nation of the world has not an universal health care system. Unthinkable and unforgivable, and we are really shocked to see parties which says to be "progressive" opposes to such proposals and rather goes arm-to-arm to the hyperliberals. We are asking to nationalizing the economy? We are asking to nationalizing the larger corporation? We are asked to abolish savings and capitals? Of course not! For this reason all your allegations against us, all you "socialist!" launched against us will not touch me or my Party. Because you too know that here there is nothing about socialism, there is also your greed and fear to lose privilege and better opportunities compared to the rest of the people! This is the reality, nothing to do with socialism or other political ideologies. Thank you" |

Message | Ludovica Azuri, PNI/PNP Whip, Let me elaborate what Mr Clark is trying to say. What will happen, is the health industry will simply increase their prices as they know that the government will cover it. Hence, we end up in an endles spiral where the health care systems cheekily increases their prices, constantly, and we are the fools funding it. Making elasticity of demand irrelevant. |

Message | Stefano Romulani, Vice-Leader of LP: "Mr Speaker, did you hear Hon. Azuri? I well understand? "The health industry will simply increase their prices as they know that the government will cover it" and she talked about a " endles spiral"... Well... Mr Azuri, can I use your comment to respond to the Minister of Interior Votta: http://classic.particracy.net/viewbill.php?billid=546416? I think that Votta would not agree with you Hon. Azuri, we expressed exactly the same remarks you did to us to Minister Votta! The difference is that this was intended as a compromise solution between the existence and inexistence of an universal health care service. We thank the collegues of PNI for this great demonstration of coherence! Thank you" |

Message | Maksim Deano Clark, Leader of LEC: Let me break this down for you Mr. Romulani (or mrs/ms) since you apparently don't understand: 1.We will cover all their healthcare 2. They were increase prices knowing that they cant lose a person who needs care at a hospital until the government goes broke. 3. This will make us have to go into budget cuts which I am fine with but you aren't because your party is liberal/progressive. |

Message | Stefano Romulani: "And obviously Mr Clark this will not happen instead with the firefighting privatization that you are surporting, right? Please... Another very good example of "coherency"..." |

Message | Ludovica Azuri, PNI/PNP Whip, If you take away all differences between the products, then in essence you are right, Mr. Romulani. That is why we try to prevent to spend government money anywhere really. However! How often does a house burn down compared to a visit to the Doctor? Additionally, people choose their doctors according to their wishes, whilst it is the government which will choose the firefighting services, hence the prices they charge will be reasonable otherwise WE contract someone else. With healthcare we do not have such control over the situation, we cannot cover for one doctor and not cover for another. So if you close your eyes on all detail, then yes you are right. But we cannot ignore the fact that the products are simply different and need to be approached the same way. |
