Bill: D.d.l 01/4306 Firefighting Services Privatization

Details

Submitted by[?]: Partito Nazionale Democratico

Status[?]: passed

Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: July 4307

Description[?]:

Demetrio Votta, Minister of Interior,

The government believes that we can provide the best quality service, at the lowest price, if instead of ourselves running firefighting services, we delegate it to the private sector. No one will be in a situation where they can not afford firefighters, as it is still taxpayer money being utilized, however, the taxpayers will be more content if they know that we value their inputs and save big money, yet provide the best possible service.

"Mr Speaker (OOC: CC and PNI should still express the Presidents of Chamber and Senate),
If the D.d.l. 02 was plauded by my party, this one not at all.
We have a question for the Government: save monet you said, this government decided to save the money on a matter like the security of our citizens. Because, the privates will always continue to find any ways to reduce the costs and increase the revenues, it is the market which works in this way as well as it is true that many people are more concerned by their revenues rather than the service they offer, or maybe are you ready to declares that there are no episodes of fraud and damage generated by unethical and unprofessional behavior?
We don't believe that the fire prevention and firefighting services should be something to put under the rule of the "invisible hand". We consider this a too big risk for our citizens."

"Mr Speaker,
To respond to Mr. Clark, first of all until now we didn't see his new party spent too much words during the debate, secondly, we are very sorry for you, but this is a Parliament and the Parliaments host debates and it is sure that my party will always enjoy the right to arguing whatever we want!

Thank you"

Random fact: When it comes to creating a Cultural Protocol in a Culturally Open nation, players are not necessarily required to provide a plausible backstory for how the nation's cultural background developed. However, the provision of a plausible backstory may be a factor in whether Moderation approves the Cultural Protocol if players in surrounding nations question its appropriateness for their region of the game map.
