| Preamble: An act to establish a new society of the state, the Open Innovation Consortium (Libera Noviga Konsorcio, LNK). Article 1. Composition of the Society 1.1 The Open Innovation Consortium (Libera Noviga Konsorcio, herein abbreviated LNK) shall be an incorporated corportion owned 51% by the federal government of the Respubliko de Zardugalo, and 49% by private investors. 1.2 The LNK shall be headquartered in Leukopolo, Kalvario. 1.3 Officers of the board of LKN for which the state possesses the right to appoint, shall be appointed by the Minister of Trade and Industry. 1.4 The LNK shall receive an initial 5 Billion ZAR capital investment from the regular capital investment monies allocated to the Ministry of Trade and Industry and to the Ministry of Science and Technology. Article 2. Mandate 2.1 The LNK shall be mandated to conduct research and development for the advancement of Open sciences and technology within Zardugal. 2.2 The LNK is mandated to develop and commercialize technologies in partnership with private-sector industry while maintaining open source and open science standards. 2.3 The LNK is mandated to support the growth of private and coop Open science and Open technology companies within Zardugal. |
