Bill: Military Reform Act of 4309

Details

Submitted by[?]: National Democrat Union

Status[?]: passed

Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: October 4309

Description[?]:

Esteemed members of the Ecclesia,

It is time to reform our great military to ensure the security of our citizens.
We believe it is in the best interests of the military to allow homosexuals to serve openly. We cannot afford to exclude people who are willing to serve our country.
In terms of nuclear weapon use, we seek the use of the word "attack" to be used more openly which will provide flexibility to any threat our nation has. This is important for two reasons. Firstly - a nuclear attack on our soil may make it too late for us to react with a nuclear strike. Secondly - the more uncertain our position is, the less likely a threat to our nation will occur.
Drones and UAVs are an important asset to our military. They can help prevent fatalities of our troops on the ground.

MessageWe wont agree with this policy unless the first article is modified. Our party is a conservative one and we do not agree with open promotion of homosexuality in army. We are open to discuss a change into a dont ask dont tell policy.

Random fact: In cases where a party has no seat, the default presumption should be that the party is able to contribute to debates in the legislature due to one of its members winning a seat at a by-election. However, players may collectively improvise arrangements of their own to provide a satisfying explanation for how parties with no seats in the legislature can speak and vote there.
