Current: All adults upon completion of schooling can be required in times of war to serve a term in the military.
Proposed: There shall be no mandatory military or civilian national service.

Message | agreed, we don't want amateurs in the army, we only need a small professional army. We can't afford spending tax payers money on the training of people who will leave the army after only a couple of months because their term ended. We only want to invest in people who stay at least 5 years with us so their training can be put to use. |

Message | The CPP strongly disagrees with the removal of national service. If we are to use the military in civil contexts, it is important that we have a wide selection of the populus. We do not want a military that consists entirely of gun crazy imbecils. On top of that, we believe that national service is character building and benefits the the draftees as well. |

Message | Conscription doesn't work, you have to mass train people who most don't want to be there where as a volunteers as good professional expertly trained by people to people who want to be there, never fails. Numbers don't win battles. |
