MessageThis administration is committed to providing a stable economic environment for the people of Aloria and for the businesses of Aloria. We want to make Aloria an attractive place for business and for investment. Due to our continued military involvement in Hulstria, supporting the Septembrist forces fighting the oppressive regime, our target for government spending is 22% of GDP, with the aim of reducing that to 20% by the next election. To meet our immediate aim of reducing spending to 22% of GDP, we have to make 4bn ALO worth of cuts. We will be focusing on making departmental spending more efficient.

Due to our military involvement in Hulstria and our target of improving our Armed Forces, we have proposed to raise defence spending to 23.5bn ALO. Furthermore, we will freeze science and technology spending, protecting it from budget cuts, as part of this budget will be used for research and development for the military, as recommended by the Ministry of Defence.
