Message | Mr. Chairman, I do not understand the unrespectfull reaction of the green party? This proposal establishes a state religion that is totally voluntary to join. Not only that it allows all religions to set up schools instead of discriminating certain religious and these schools will still be heavily regulated. This bill does in no way hinder the freedom of people that are not religious and only gives the current religious community more respect in the form of a symbolic state religion and gives all religions the freedom to ser up their schools. If this bill does one thing it is increase freedom of certain groups in our society. We are utterly offended by this accusation of the greens which is not based on anything but lies. Read the bill before you decide to talk in front of the chairman. Johannes Freit, Chairman of the TGP for the Staatsrat |

Message | Mr.Speaker, I did not use even a single word which was disrespectful or insulting,it is only the TGP which is insulting us by using patronising remarks such as "Read the bill before you decide to talk in front of the chairman".Infact we are not even accusing the TGP of anything,we are just stating the simple fact,They actually want to put one religion,in this Case Hosianism,in front of Others but it is against our Values of Secularism. We should not encourage a single religion, let it be Hosiaism,Yeudism or Ahmadism. Message | Mr. Chairman, Not insulting us? Saying that we want a theocratic state is a pretty big insult and not only a complete lie but also a spit in the face of the tens of millions of religious people in our nation. But to come back to reason. While we understand your point of view you must understand ours. Religious extremism has increased to drastic proportions in recent years. This mostly comes from young religious people who do not feel recognized by there government. By allowing all religions to set up schools we can ensure every person no matter what religion they worship to feel recognized and to be able to teach their children in their traditions and believes. The voluntary state religion will also be a show of respect towards the religious community in this nation which has been left for dead by most secular party's in this Rat. The reason for the religious violence in this nation is the lack of recognition and respect of the government towards the religious community. By changing that we can stop children from falling into extremism and give the acient religious community's of our nation the recognition they deserve. Message | Mr. Chairman, It would be fair to say the TGP has recently supported laws which have been essentially theocratic in nature. For example, compelling all citizens to me members of the state religion, and imposing harsh laws for so-called "blasphemy". The Greens are not unjustified in their concerns. Anton Weinreich General Secretary of the Dorvish Communist Party |
