Message | SPP really is ruining this for the rest of us. We should boycott them somehow. |
Date | 15:48:30, February 28, 2006 CET | From | Shuggoth Progressive Party | To | Debating the Luthori Social Safety Net Act |
Message | How is the SPP ruining anything for you? We propose legislation and vote on it. If more parties proposed legislation, they would have more visibility, more seats in the legislature, and could shape the law better. Feel free to propose whatever legislation you want! |

Message | It's the way you propose bills to deliberately manipulate the game mechanics that ruins it. Hopefully the remake will punish inconsistency in the way we were told this version was supposed to. |

Message | The SPP were opposed to this not that long ago. What is going on? |

Message | SPP are playing silly buggers again - and will probably be rewarded handsomely at the next election for it, again! Bring on the new version!!! We will propose amendments to articles III and IV once this has passed. |

Message | OOC : For the record, I only want to shape my own platform. If every party would propose legislation, I could just vote on your legislation. Unfortunately, it's only me and the Unionists who are proposing anything, and since the laws have mostly been changed to what the SPP wants, the only way I can shape my platform is to propose something and then vote against it. (I am RPing this as another "wing" of my party insisting on the legislation to stay in our coalition, but it would be easier to just give your legislation an up or down vote hehe) |

Message | Proposing "mixed up" bills which cause problems for other parties is frowned upon. The debate phase should be used to separate articles so that parties can votr for the ones they like and against the ones they don't. |
