| Upon the conclusion of the ‘Military’ sessions of the official conference of NAF MPs, the following introduced proposals will be brought to the forefront of NAF politics: |
Proposals
Article 1
Proposal[?] to change Military stance on homosexuality.
Old value:: Homosexuality is allowed in the military.
Current: Homosexuality is allowed in the military.
Proposed: Open homosexuality is not tolerated in the military. The military has a "don't ask, don't tell" policy.
Article 2
Proposal[?] to change The government's policy concerning the use of nuclear weaponry in warfare.
Old value:: The nation shall never use nuclear weapons in warfare.
Current: The nation reserves the right to use nuclear weapons in warfare for any reason.
Proposed: The nation shall never use nuclear weapons in warfare unless another nation uses them first.
Article 3
Proposal[?] to change The policy with respect to nuclear weaponry.
Old value:: The nation shall never develop, produce or store nuclear weaponry.
Current: The nation shall never produce or store nuclear weaponry for military purposes. Research and development of the technology is permitted.
Proposed: The nation reserves the right to develop, produce and store nuclear arms.
Article 4
Proposal[?] to change Women in the military.
Old value:: Women serve alongside men.
Current: Women serve alongside men.
Proposed: Women can only serve in non-battle positions.

Proposal[?] to change The government's policy concerning the use of chemical and biological weaponry in warfare.
Old value:: The nation shall never use chemical or biological weaponry in warfare.
Current: The nation reserves the right to use chemical or biological weapons in warfare for any reason.
Proposed: The nation shall never use chemical or biological weapons in warfare unless another nation uses them first.
Article 6
Proposal[?] to change The government's policy concerning biological and chemical weaponry.
Old value:: The nation shall never develop, purchase or store biological or chemical weaponry.
Current: The nation shall never develop, purchase or store biological or chemical weaponry.
Proposed: The nation reserves the right to develop, construct and store biological and chemical weapons.

| Message | Herr Huspresident, Kjerne is in full accord with this bill and votes yes. Articles 2 and 5 about nuclear and chemical weaponry is the policy we were advocating. Kazulia is a nuclear power. it is foolish to live in denial of this. What we will continue to do is to work for continued global disarmament. Just because we grant that we are a nuclear power does not mean we will engage in any arms-race. Concerning mixed gender and homosexuality in the army it is something out of place and alien to anyone who understands what military life and the war-situation is all about.
