Bill: A Working Peoples Bill

Details

Submitted by[?]: The Imperium Nationale

Status[?]: defeated

Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: July 4318

Description[?]:

We must allow the people to have a sense of living, our people must have at least a basis to go off of. A minimum wage is required to allow us to at least have a sensible population, whom may be ready to defend, work or even trudge our nation forward. We propose a Minimum wage, and allow for strikes to happen. This must be passed to ensure that our nation has a happy, working, and living civilian population. This bill will prove to the standard, that all people need a sustainable living wage, to support them and their families.

MessageI support Article 2 but 1 is too extreme.
A minimum wage that supports one person to keep them above the poverty line.
Then I would support this bill.

Random fact: Moderation will not approve a Cultural Protocol request within the first 48 hours of it being requested. This is in order to give other players a chance to query the proposed changes, if they wish to do so. Moderation may be approached for advice on a proposed change, but any advice proffered should always be understood under the provisio that no final decision will be made until at least 48 hours after the request has been formally submitted for approval.

Random quote: "The moral justification of capitalism does not lie in the altruist claim that it represents the best way to achieve 'the common good.' It is true that capitalism does, if that catch-phrase has any meaning, but this is merely a secondary consequence. The moral justification for capitalism lies in the fact that it is the only system consonant with man's rational nature, that it protects man's survival qua man, and that its ruling principle is justice." - Ayn Rand
