As this bill seeks to deprive locals of their autonomy on this matter, you can guarantee that we will be voting no.

MessageHonourable Members

As this Bill has no Articles Attached to it and was not moved for a vote it will be docketed as Bill 2 in the seating of the 7th Parliament following the June 4320 Elections though we encourage Member who introduced it to introduce hard legislation to this Bill.

Let me remind the Ataraxian Confederation that current laws you support, deprives the right to life for millions of our citizens, while local autonomy is important, I think protecting the life of an innocent child is much more important.

MessageMdm. Speaker,

We respect the view of the National Democratic Party, this is precisely why we respect the right to self-determination. We don't all agree on the same values, so it is absolutely imperative if we are to live in peace and harmony with another that we learn to respect our different ways.

We are antinatalists, we oppose all human reproduction. Despite that fact, we absolutely refuse to force our beliefs onto others. Under our policy, the National Democratic Party would be able to restrict abortion in communities that follow their beliefs. However, other communities will also be able to have their own different abortion policies, such as giving women the right to choose what happens to their own body.

So, you see what the problem is? One side that wishes to force their views onto others. Our policy respects tolerance, it respects local autonomy. We only hope that the other parties will share this tolerance.

MessageMadam Speaker,

We also believe that abortions should only be done in a medical emergency and will vote in favour of this bill.
