Message | Mr Speaker, The legislation proposed clearly outlines that while industry will be permitted to make use of our environment and the benefits of it - creating job, prosperity and cheaper goods for all Jelbic people's i will add - they will be expected to replace these resources at a higher replacement rate. This will ensure sustainability for long term use of the plentiful resources of the land. As for the Guidelines Mr Speaker, if his own Government accepts that guidelines are not being enforced - why have them exist at all? the cost of maintaining guidelines and establishing them - while also maintaining the infrastructure of the state to retain them - is a weight on the finances of the state and as such are delivering a net loss rather than gain to our nation's economy and society. Why keep something we do not use? |
