Message | The quality of education is a key preoccupation with the Ministry of Education and Culture. We believe that every student in Zardugal, regardless of where they live, has the right to a high quality education. We however believe that there is a need for local content and control within school. In the pluralist and intercultural society that is Zardugal, complete centralization of curriculum, resources and school structures is undesireable. To achieve high quality education across the country that equally prepares students, a federal standards - local implementation should be adopted instead. Federal standards will help ensure education is accessible and meets set goals, while still permitting local flexibility. My party is preparing new legislation to be introduced shortly, and I hope assembly will find much to agree with. Juvela Nikomaĉo Minister of Education and Culture |
